The Domke J-3 Journalist Shoulder Bag is a compact version of the J-1 bag and is designed to handle the larger cameras and lenses favored by professional news photographers. It is made of water resistant double-ply ballistic nylon. There are 9 compartments and pockets including 2 movable/removable padded dividers, two large end pockets, and a zippered pocket that stores filters, film and other things.

The J-3 also features rubber feet, a closed cell foam bottom, a removable hand strap and an adjustable Gripper shoulder strap.
